Challenge:
- Create from ground-up technology solution that can create full-3D head (called “morph”) from user-uploaded photo.
- Morph is based on parameters, can morph from one head shape to another.
- User can make funny faces by changing morph parameters (enlarge chin, nose, ears, alter overall head shape etc.)
- Create 3D model of the product (Motorola ROKR e8) with reflection depending on the viewing angle
- Morph & phone react on currently played mp3 track (provided by Motostore)
- Morph will sing and dance, following song dynamic & lyrics
- Users can browse through all approved morphs, sort them by popularity (voting mechanism), date or city.
- User can cycle through 10 funny faces of any existing morph, by simply hitting the morph with mouse.
- User can rotate phone in 360 and see it from all sides.
- Administrator tool, developed in flash, provided to agency to easily browse through submitted morphs, check user photos, comments and approve or delete morphs from the data base
- Develop complete back-end system to support all front-end functionality
Time frame:
- 4 weeks of development
- 2 weeks of additional work to comply with Sina’s hosting environment.
